Eptifibatide (also named Integrilin) is an anti-coagulant drug that is produced from Sistrurus miliarus barbouri, which can block platelet glycoprotein IIb/IIIa receptor to prevent platelet aggregation. Although, inhibition of platelet aggregation occurs in a dose- and concentration-dependent manner.
